Waves
2012
It seems as if the lines of this table repeat themselves the same way as the waves of the sea. The lightblue hue contributes to this idea. The table was made of ‘bad’ beech in which many white spots are seen. The cross-lines are made of maple. Kinds of wood:

Size: Lx130xW40,5xH50cm Finish: Blue wash, hard-wax coating. This table is water and dirt resistant.
Driftwood II
2011'Driftwood II' was made out of cherry and meranti. The lines of meranti wood diagonally cut through the cherry wood. The width of the cherry planks are different and the arbitrariness in which they have been put together makes one think of wood floating on water. The legs are made of iron they are joined at an angle of 15 degrees.
